Those kids need some proper punishment. They probably won't get it though.

It is unfortunate for this guy, but it amazes me how people can feel comfortable outrunning their headlights. I've seen all sorts of stuff in the road a night including a washer and dryer in the middle of I-10 out near Sealy (the car a 1/4 mile or so back from me ran right into and spun) but I never go so fast that I can't stop or avoid anything that I find in the road no matter how unexpected. And this doesn't mean going 40 on the highway at night, it mostly means paying careful attention and having good SA all the time. It just seems unwise to ride or drive faster than you can see.

I'm scared of ladders, couches, rakes and pipe fittings.

Not in that order.

+1 to all the previous posts. It was a sensless, tragic waste.

Being a parent, I have to think about the kids and their familys. I'm sure they thought someone in a car or truck would plow through the "Shell" and it would be funny. Kids, (Especially Teens) don't think through to the consequences of their actions. I'm sure that is what happened here. I'm not taking up for them or condoning their actions. What they did was stupid and wrong. Hopefully just the thought of being involved in the innocent death of someone will "Convert" some of them.

If I'd pulled that as a teen, I wouldn't be worried about the police...I'd be more scared of my own parents. Half the problem these days is that the parents don't/aren't allowed to beat their kids' !!!!

I think they should be forced to take a spill on a bike in the same manner as punishment. Only fair for them to juggle their own mortality if they wish to put some restraint on anothers...

It is unfortunate that such an innocent life was lost to a needless incident.

I wish all parents would beat the living tar out of there childrens 's before this to prevent it from happening. f*ck child abuse.
BEAT YO KIDS 'S!!!!

When I was a child, my was black and blue all the time. I eventually learned not to do f*cked up and I turned out ok. (slow learner)

as for those who commit crimes we need to refer to the singapore law book and enforce double what they do. (it is illegal to spit gum on the sidewalk and punishable by cane.) these kids would be dead by the end of the week!

Im not out doing f*cked up now am I? I learned to be tough and act right.

I also learned years later that Im better off with out some people. (haven't spoken to her in 6 years as of last week.)

and yea just a bit across that line. she has never even touched me since that happened. not even a hug or rub arms passing. I told her if she did I would kill her. and I mean it.

No, you are not allowed to beat your kids or anything else in Texas.
