Translucent Paint?

I have ideas floating upstairs; most no good

I have a euro tail on the busa w/ led bulbs wired w/ trailer hitch adapter, parking/brake/turn sig. But the leds don't shine out bright. Ordered a 20 or 30 led bulb for each side, 1156 diode rated. Don't know if gonna be any brighter... so I need either to

1) paint/tint lense w/ red

or

2) cut some straight lexan and refit for leds to shine through brighter.

Ideas? people mentioned standard bulbs w/ a/m silicone covers, seran wrap(i mean wtf, really....) and other stuff. Is there a translucent paint that anyone knows of? I can't find a dual filiment bulb that has a red lense so I have had leds in it since... Thanx for the ideas guys...

easy way to do it, get a body shop to wetsand it down and then mix a little red in some clear coat. spray till tint is desired. that is the simplist and easiest permanent solution. I think that what your looking for right? a good way to tent the lens red?

IDK that just my .02 cents
