they are.. I kinda agree but when its done nice it looks good and it shows you not only can u weave in and out of traffic but you can also do it looking classy!!! just my opinion

I've had these on all my 3 bikes, you can change modes and all, plus they are a running light and blinker, strobe, fade in fade out combo, badass!!!

Also I heard that if you use use blinker fluid for your brake lights!!! It will make your brake light blink and create a dangerous condition- use only approved brake light fluid for your brake lights. is this true?
