Scorpio i500

Just wondering if any of you have the Scorpio i500 alarm system set up on your bike...??

I just went to Patrick's at Motorcycle's Unlimited to get an oil change and other regular scheduled service and while waiting, I ended up buying the Scorpio i500. Patrick gives a great discount for MotoHouston members.

I get it installed on Tuesday. Anyone have any thoughts on alarm system?

Re: Scorpio i500

I have had that alarm on my bike for 8 months now. Perfect is the only Words i have for it. Every feature except for the Clockong device. But na for reals its the . Water proof, Motion Sensor, Back up Battery, Low Voltage, 90 dc alarm ( I think ) Different Alarm Options. Two Pager Fm Pager, Lcd display, ..... bla bla bla Its the . Takes 1 AAA battery. Just have some Back up batteries. last like 3 months per battery but i like to scare people when they pass my bike and try to touch it. Or i could leave the motion sensor on but its more fun to do it Manualy. LOL

Re: Scorpio i500

Picked up the bike today from Motorcycles Unlimited. (Thanks to Patrick and his crew).... This thing is definitely sweet! I know if a theif wanted to steal your bike, they could, but hopefully this will m ake them think twice....this is loud as !!! Now I think it would look strange if 2-4 guys were trying to pick up a bike while this blazing alarm is going off. The proximity sensor is sweet as well as the ignition sensor. I'm impressed!

Re: Scorpio i500

Ahh dude you could have gotten the alarm off ebay and I could have helped you install that sucker. I bought mine of ebay for around 300 with all the goodies and installed myself. Still sweet alarm though.

Re: Scorpio i500

Actually $350.00 for the alarm with his discount. $200.00 for install, all wires are soldered / heat shrinked, at least he doesn't have to worry about something shorting out or frying something.
