Angry CANT WE ALL JUST GET ALONG??

I had previously posted the price of the bike i was going to purchase wondering if I could get some info if it was a good price or not. Now the dealership has called me and said a guy was interested in the bike and wants to purchase it immediately on credit. Apparently, (the dealer would have no way of knowing im part of this site) the guy said he saw the price listed in a forum at motohouston.com. Now, i have to take time out of my day to go down there and put a retainer on the bike, which I have already done. The dealer wants to sell it to ME because im paying CASH. So whoever the NO GOOD CHUMP is, i hope you read this post, BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT GETTING THE BIKE !!! do your own research and save some cash before trying to buy a bike next time.

Wow, pretty strong words.

Easy to see how you might be frustrated but that's not a good way to make new friends. Just my opinion...

hmm...I understand you want the bike and all...but what does it matter if he buys it on credit or not? the dealership still gets paid the full amount...its not like they are financing it for him. But yeah right on im glad you got the bike you wanted!

When I bought my bike there was another guy there that was about to buy it and I just said **** it, took 22% interest rate, and financed it. Then I rode it off the lot, to my CU and refinanced for 6.25%.

I just dont wanna be his friend. You gotta understand, i've been researching for months now, and its a little frustrating when someone goes behind your back like that from a site like this. I guess it takes all kinds.

Oh, and the dealer is doing the financing, not a bank. Thats why they're leaning towards me.

Well, no matter what, they got their retainer, papers are signed, purchase is next weekend. And retainer is subtracted from original price. Anyways, thanks to let me vent, it felt good, now to go to work. Later folks.
