New Harley - Buick model

Wowzers, look what I stumbled on!
Scooter

< Outside the shop on Saturday, one such middle-aged man was getting ready to make a decision on a Harley Roadmaster. "I'm looking for a good, steady ride," said Rosindo Sandoval. As he spoke, he kept his gaze fastened on a maroon Roadmaster nearby.>

So once again it seems those California Dealers get first dibs on the newest models. The Motor Company has joined forces with the struggling GM division to produce a product that the factories hope will stimulate showroom traffic
- and sales - for both companies. The new model will feature Buick's resurrected trademark "portholes" on the enlarged front fender, tank, side covers and saddle bags. Badged the the FLHTGZRCRUSEIGHTY&OVR, the new super tourer should be hitting showrooms soon. It reportedly includes features intended to allow the traditional Buick buyers to feel immediately at home.

Sources indicate the new model has an interlock system wired to the starter button that will prevent ignition unless the rider dyes his/her hair blue, wears those wide wraparound sunglasses with the side shields, along with some form of hat. The throttle cable is specially limited to prevent application of more than one eighth of full power, and the left turn signal is soldered to remain on permanently. The brake lights are also wired to remain lit at all times. The saddle is fitted with a special waterproof covering and drain system over both pilot and passenger sections, along with an unique "Depends Timer" feature alongside the usual guages which fearure extra-big numbers. The programmable stereo/clock/GPS/CB MP3 player is set up to flash 12:00 continuously, regardless of program choice. Prices for the new collaborative model are expected to be a bit higher than the Motor Company's top model, the FLHRSEMIGZR, whose sales have begun to slump, according to Factory sources wishing to remain anonymous.

Look for the first test of this new model to appear in this month's issue of AARP magazine.

You heard it here first!
