+1 on everything said-

AND definitely buy used. I dropped mine twice out of the garage, and Meaner dropped it twice on my driveway. It just happens.

sure some of those pics are absolute worst case scenario, but its a reminder of what CAN happen in the blink of an eye. no one plans accidents and i look at that site at least once a week as a reminder of that.

if you think putting up the kickstand is not a risk.....youre kidding yourself.

think about all the things at risk and then tell me looking at what CAN happen once in a while wont keep you from doing the things, that while they may be fun, you know are stupid.

you got a family? friends? children?
do yourself a favor and look at that site

i didnt post that link to convince anyone to stop riding, but maybe to caution them about riding more safely.
still sick.

, I didn't realize there were so many girls on the north side that rode. How often do you ladies meet up to go on rides? If you ladies wouldn't mind I would like for Courtney to meet up and chat with other girl riders to see if it is something she would really enjoy.

I agree. When I go out and ride, that is my "free" time to just get away. My wife's "free" time is spent shopping or at the hair dresser.

Hannibal I think there are more girls on the North ish side of houston than any other part of town or so it seems. I know most of us have no issues talking to new chick riders

Who said she would even want to ride with you.. There are enough girls on bikes to be able to go ride without there SO .....

btw this tread might be deemed stupid (especially since it involves chick on a bike) (you started this raxerx) and should be moved to off topic discussion who cares if it involves motorcycles or not.

Got crystal signed up to take the class, next is a bike. But i feel you on not feeling 100% comfortable (not in her ability) but in my own thoughts of her out on the street with the things i deal with when i ride.
