Re: Anybody have a good Motorycle Lawyer?

I'm already going today to get it. I read the texas depeartment of public saftey manual just now, and took the MSF online review. Its all common sense and I aced that sucker pretty good. Just a bunch of memorizing and common sense things you would do in situations. I like the question where it ask you what you do if you see a dog chasing you. I just had to answer A.KICK IT!!! instead of slow down then speed up

Re: Anybody have a good Motorycle Lawyer?

Insurance can be dismissed if you had it AT THE TIME of the Ticket...Its not a fix it ticket. Its a you dumbass get insurance ticket. The M on your license is the same way...Its kind of like carrying a concealed hand gun...if you go to jail for carrying a concealed hand gun with no permit it doesn't mean if you get out and go get the permit the charges will be dropped...Again...JACK

i dunno how the law work, but this is not true from my experience. as the people that i road with got insurance days after they got ticketed and took it to the court and got it dismissed. depends on how nice those court people are that day i guess. and no talking to the judge, this was all done at the counter.

Re: Anybody have a good Motorycle Lawyer?

i dont consider it a sport but a way to just relax my self.* When he pulled me over was i doing any stunts? NO! i swerved to avoid some bumps in the street and he said i was draggin knee.* the light was yellow and he said yeah he'll let me go with that cuz it was iffy. Oh and hey, if you guys are all legit and legal anyways and are'nt doing anythign wrong either when your on the road then who cares if a cop pulls you over right?

Well I personally would like to thank you for riding around with no licence, insurance, and registration...what a selfless act. I really wish I was that thoughtful. Lord knows I love paying $500 year for insurance, registration fees, and wearing a helmet when its 105 outside. Few other satisfactions come close in life...

Re: Anybody have a good Motorycle Lawyer?

most peeps here that ride track only dont have a license and insurance on their bike when they take it on the street. its real easy to pick on someone when you have everything legit.

Hai, i got stopped years ago on my 01 for the exact same thing and all i had to do was pay a fine for no insurance. i didnt have a license, registration, plates, and insurance PLUS a ran a stop sign :eh:

you might have to pay a fine for not having insurance and a license but get proof of everything and go to the courthouse a week from when you got stopped. im sure the cop hasnt prossesed the ticket so its not going to be in the system yet for you to clear it. on the back of the ticket there is a website for the court house and you can see if its in the system already right:

get proof and say you didnt have it with you. see the information desk at the front and they can also dismiss it without you seeing a judge. thats what happend to me after i got a ticket for no inspection sticker (fix it ticket) on my 04.

dont get stopped again without having insurance cuz that fine will triple. read the back of the ticket for fees or go online.

Re: Anybody have a good Motorycle Lawyer?

i think the law for no insurance have changed. If you get caught with no insurance you , you have to pay the state something like 300 a year for 3 years.
