What If....

ok so i saw this really sick gsxr 1000 at the rally, looked Really clean. and i noticed that it didnt have a different swing arm just the extensions. If i added this to my gsxr 600, obviously i would need a longer chain but would i need to change anything else if i added swingarm extensions?

please comment

Longer rear brake line, and, depending on how far back you set it, you'll have to modify the rear fender / limit rear suspension travel.

Dumb question, Does anybody know if they are even legal? And will this mess up my transmission or anything else mechanically?

They're legal. Won't really stress anything as long as you watch chain tension.

If you can take off the rear wheel and install a chain and flush and bleed brakes, you should be able to do it.
On a mechanical skill scalle of 1-10 I'd give it a 5.
