dude, if you could find someone to lay some carbon fiber over that tank, and have someone fabricate a tail section......you'd have the pimpest zx10 in the world.

OPP makes a superbike tail that i'll probably pick up, but i'm scared to death of laying it down on the track just how it is now, so i dont know if i'll take the plunge. the race tail is about 650 bucks. OPP has been saying they'll make a tank for 3 years now, but still nothing. i don't feel like paying the 1500 to have them custom make it and waiting knows how long to get it in. it takes 6 months for fairings that they "supposedly" have in stock, so on something custom i'd probably wait a year or two. i don't even know if i'll have the bike that long. lol.

true.....either way, it's still a very pretty bike. and yeah, i would be even scared of riding the bike period. i'd put that in a showcase or something.

i've thought about building a display case in the living room and keeping it in there, but the thing is just too much fun to ride! lol...maybe after i get the 08 10r i'll retire it.

and thanks for the compliments! you'll see it in person on the 24th at MSRh.
