I can't get a 'Busa, I would kill myself. There is no way I have enough self control to drive a bike that can go 180 MPH and not find out every single time that I get on it...

I'm just not that strong of a person.

Not really, my bike's top speed is the same as my car's so there is not real thrill in it.

Have you considered a 1250 Bandit? I use mine almost daily. Have the Suzuki toprack & a Givi 42 liter topbox on it, it's been very easy to zip around town with, and the topbox makes it downright practical.

Eventually if I take on overnight trips I'll add the saddlebags. There was a black model on display at Reliant last weekend with the full luggage kit.

I've been thinking about the 1250 Bandit, too. From what I've heard, almost everyone that's bought one, loves it, and say it can be a great sport-tourer.

I've had an fjr for 2 years now, great bike.I'am only 5'7" & cannot flat foot it,but it has not caused any issues yet.I hear that the corbin seat gives you an addition inch & there is a company that makes adjustable dogbones-so it can be lowered.Been riding for 30 yrs & the fjr is the best combo of sport, touring & utility I've sampled. Its great to run to the store & throw the groceries in the bags or take the wife for a long ride. The kawi is nice-but just a little too heavy for me(50 lbs more than the fjr)
