Need recommendations for wedding photographers

Folks who are married or getting married soon... I need some recommendations for photographers.

I've found some really nice folks who take nice dramatic pictures (preferred), and some other folks who take mostly traditional wedding pics. The problem is, all the ones we like are booked for our date.

Anyone have any recommendations for us?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

The gal doing our wedding works for a photo studio and quite cheaper than most since it is a friend of a bridesmaid. The bridesmaid is taking our engagement photos this Sunday and supa cheap....She also works for a photography studio PT. If interested, let me know and I'll have my gal give me the contact info.

My sister did my engagement and wedding photos. She is a possibility also. I think I have one of the engagement pics in my profile.

Price isn't an issue at the moment. We want to get someone who has an eye for mixing art into the shots, not just someone who points and clicks. Feel free to give me your recommendation. A website would be nice so we can browse through their portfolio to get a feel for their style.

We'd prefer to have someone who a lot of experience in shooting weddings. However, do you folks have a portfolio online we can view?

Danny, do any of them have experience shooting weddings and if so, any portfolio we can look at?

Teresa, thanks for the link. Did you choose a "package" listed on the site or did you "customize" it based on your preferences/wants?

Thanks to all for your replies thus far.
