I would stay away from a 520 kit. I would get a 525 with steel sprockets. Stay away from aluminum sprockets as well. Get with Patrick at Motorcycles Unlimited on the fork seal job. Pads, get EBC race pads and check into SS lines.

I'd recommend either a good quality RK GXW or DID ZVM chain.
As stated, I'd stay with the 525 size if chain life is a big consideration.
I can help you with the rest of what you need as well, don't forget to ask for your MH discount.

^^^^ PATRICK!!!!

MOTORCYCLES UNLIMITED FTW!!!! they do all the work on my racebikes. service is top notch, price is excellent....you'll make new friends there.

as for the chain....if you're not looking for performance....i'd go with the 525 chain as well.....if you go with a 520 chain....you will need to replace your sprockets to 520 as well. you cannot use a 520 chain with 525 sprockets and vice versa.

Whats up with the aluminum sprockets?
I am relitively new to the street bike scene but we always ran alum sprockets on our dirt bikes I love Renthal's

I will need sprockets and chain for my srad so any info would help!!

Streetbikes are heavier and have more power than dirtbikes.
We also change chains and sprockets less frequently comparated to dirt bikes.
Lastly aluminum wears at a faster rate than steel.

So for track gearing do you still suggest steel or just for your daily gears?

I figured it was becouse they wear faster but I just wanted to make sure someone wasn't gonna say alum would break imediately....

They won't break immediately, although vortex are notorious for wearing rapidly.
For racing use I'd recommend an aluminum rear sprocket, but for general street use, steel holds up better and is less expensive as well.

Sugar Pine, about a block East of Kuykendahl.
We're on the North side of FM1960, close to Barneys Billards and NAPA Auto Parts.

While your on here do you guys change tires I called discount ect and they won't touch em.

I looked all over for my tire spoons with no luck but I would rather have it balanced since It moves a little faster than my cr 250 or is it not necessary if you get the balance marks lined up?

Also do you stock aftermarket levers, pegs that kinda stuff?

Thanks
