CMRA Mini Races

Does CMRA have Mini Endurance or Sprints?
I was talking to someone about this and trying to find out what class a 50cc bike would be racing.

i think the nsr50 might be classified as formula 6

for sprints and mini endurance you should be classified as formula 6 on a nsr50

I think you have a garage full of bike and still get some extras on a weekly basis

although cmra is pretty fun....it's a more expensive option over tmgp. and the tracks are designed more for bigger bikes than the nsf100 and nsr50 as you already know. i enjoyed oak hill on the crf100....but i'm not sure if it would be fun being on a larger track like cresson or TWS (Texas World Speedway) (short track) though

Tony Tone Tone, the fees where about the same as far as entry. The extra cost would be in CMRA license and gate fees. But in CMRA you can get contingency points.

They update the results page (typically) two days after the race.

ya, it was formula 6. but this was an endurance race. I'd like to do more CMRA mini endurance races. And I don't remember that weekend being that much more expensive than TMGP.

i meant driving and lodging. they only run mini endurance at oak hill, cresson, and hallet. those tracks are a minimum of 3 hrs away.....as opposed to tmgp, we have katy and denton, one is 3 hours away, the other is minutes away.

a few of those endurances are only 2 hours as well. that's the only negative part about it.

the small bikes on the big tracks are no fun... they're just too slow IMO. a nsr or a xr/crf kinda gets boring after a while to ride even at oak hill. Something along the lines of a 150(4T) or 65(2T) and higher starts getting a bit more interesting. the 85s should be fun. Just my POV.
