Tom, he had a very successful year as a WERA expert? Would you like to post those results or would you like me too?

Lets not get into a match here but if you going to post something, post the facts.

Sure, I'll find the link. I saw it in the thread at CCS.

Make no mistake about it, nobody is in a match. You can do whatever you want to, I could care less.

If some people are disgruntled and want to form their own series, so be it. And if some people don't like an organization because they got bumped or whatever, good for them.

I better correct this that I posted, he had a successful WERA 2006 and was bumped by them to Expert, or is listed as a WERA expert for 2007, according to that link. Hope that helps

Tom CMRA was CCS as it was WERA too. When CMRA broke with WERA and bumped one of the novices up to expert he started RPM as a new WERA group in TX. I was a member of both and still have my RPM charter member shirt.

I did not like CCS nor WERA but I did like WERA better then CCS.

Why so defensive? Im not bashing the guy at all and I still dont know him. I just thought you guys would be interested in what his peers thought of his character. Its none of my business because Im happy with the CMRA. I raced WERA when they came to town and it made me appreciate the CMRA that much more.

Trying to decide who to do a full season with
As of the race schedules today if I did all races my driving time round trip would be:
Cmra- 70 hours
CCS- 120 hours
I'm near Conroe. I'm liking less driving time but, I don't want to do 3 races at Oakhill.
The extra 50 hours of driving time is some serious gas money & time.
If I do both orgs then I could do:
4 races at MSR Houston
3 " TWS (Texas World Speedway)
3 " MSR Cresson
1 " Eagles Cyn
MSRH & TWS (Texas World Speedway) are only 1:15 minutes away.

Whats up Alan? Do you plan/care about fighting for the championship? If so, great (you fast ). If not, what about only running the races in both series that you're interested in?

here's a silly question ... can anyone come to these races and spectate? Or do you have to like pay a fee or something?

CMRA charges a gate fee to spectators. I'm not sure about CCS.

I don't know what CCS is going to do, but with the CMRA you can certainly come out and watch. CMRA charges a nominal gate fee, TWS (Texas World Speedway) sometimes charges an additional fee, but who knows what the new owners will do this year.

There is a lot to be learned from watching the really fast guys on the track, not to mention it's a fun sport to watch anyway.

Some track limit access to parts of the track, some have more access to watch. Check the schedule at www.cmraracing.com and come see.

Anybody can spectate for a fee.
It would be nice to place a top 5 in the championship. Was also thinking how easy it would be to only do TWS (Texas World Speedway) and MSRH.
Which ones you thinking of doing Derek?

Gate fee for CCS South races for spectators will be $10.

I'll post the weekend schedule for the first race by the end of next week.

Happy New Year
