Brothers Back From Iraq!

Only for 2 weeks but it's good to have him home! Cant wait to get off work and see him! He's been gone for 2 years and it's taking a toll on my mom cause he's the youngest of us 2 so she misses her baby. Today he called me and told me to call MOM and tell her that I (MYSELF) "dropped some earphones outside in the driveway yesterday when i went to go see her and check if it was there", and when i called her and told her that she went outside and there my brother was standing in full uniform and said "HEY MOM!" My mom bursted into tears and hung up on me i called back and she apologized and said why didn't i tell her! why do you think! Anyways it's good to have him home and just thought i would share! I have so many questions about his time over there! I wish i could of joined the military but i had a kid and well it was the best thing that ever happend to me.

wish i would of saw this before hand. I asked him if he's actually had to "send anyone to " and he kind put his head down and softly said yes. Only thing about it he said was one of them was a teenager 13-17 he believes planting a IED near a road that an convoy was going through to drop equipment off at theie base. He was in a tower (in the picture) watching the boy near the road when he was given orders to "take him out" as he stated. He said he thought of our nephew before killing him because he looked so young. I think the war has definitely taken it's toll on him. I will never question him again. :/:

PS- thanks for all the positve feedback! He said he really really appreciates it!
