I like how you think. I was actually going to use the 250 for a few track days first since I'm not quite done learning on that 'lil beast.

Well, you're Kawi biased. I'd like to stick with Kawi, especially since the majority of the people I ride with have Kawi's as well. Oh well

Never accept money for buying a bike from your parents. If you die, they will blame themselves. Use your 1/2 to buy a decent ride and a bunch of trackdays.

But mooching off your sugar daddy boyfriends, that's a whole different story.

Neither, The triumph is great bike however parts costs are higher and a very small number of the original ones were consuming oil. The Honda is a bit dated, but I guess it would be a good change coming from a 250. The 636 is great bike however the transmission is complete garbage on it so get an 07 ZX6R if you get a Kawi. Hate to say it but a GSXR600 or 750 would be great choice as they have no known problems other than imperfect fueling, or a new CBR 600RR, but I am a little biased

As for insurance on the salvage; get the light and brake inspection passed by a ref; go to your insurance and they can cover the amount that it is appraised for; won't be full amount of bike's worth(california's rules; don't know about tx.)

But if you wanna stunt? why throw away the money in a truimph when that money can go to your 12'o bar and crash cage... covered, done, happy wheelin'

you have an F4i and a 675. That's awesome.

There are a lot of good points on here. Ah, which ever one is the right choice I'll just know.
