Nope, I was fighting lives and saving fires Saturday.

Did you get a look at the damage? That new bodywork crashes very, very well! I am impressed.

I have it all apart and am just fixing the mechanical stuff right now. He wants the bodywork fixed, but we're shelving that until he gets some new gear. Maybe I'll fix it up in January, hafta see.

A few broken parts, other than that, it's all good. The last time I painted his bike, he threw it on the ground at the first track day he attended too!

Some of our friends called me after he crashed and begged me NOT to paint his bike again!

I really like the construction of the new bodywork, it crashes very well! As good as the Attack, for half the price. You suffer a bit with the finish, but a little sanding and priming and it's all good!

Fit is phenomenal, it fits like OEM.

I'll post some post-crash pics today or tomorrow.

The bike didn't look too bad. I like the bodywork though. Although I have a beautiful plastics on my SV, how much is a set of the ones on Charles' bike? What windscreen do those plastics take?

Oscar, I'll pm you a price for them, but retail is only $500+ shipping, I get them cheaper. You might check with one of the sponsors like Patrick for their deals too, I know they get some smokin' deals on parts and accessories.

They are second gen SV, so they don't fit the first gen like I would like it to. the upper is fine, but the lower is about 1" too wide on the right side (for some reason), and the tail needs a lot of cutting to fit the first gen well. I spent more time fitting the tail on his bike than I wanted to.

It uses the stock second gen wind screen.

The bodywork fits the second gen like OEM though They just don't make a first gen set (yet).

I am going to do a write-up for SVRider.com, I'll post a link for that when I do (or cross-post).

I like the construction, I love the fit.

Stuart- I think you'll have to qualify "normal" for Chaz! Since he has a full-time real job now (instead of his normal Pimp job), he doesn't get on bbs much.
