why? dry clutches make way more noise and in the article they stated that they saved weight going to a wet clutch.

wet clutches last longer, are lighter and have better feed back than dry clutches.

bingo. that's why they switched. and the 848 will be the first ducati that doesn't sound broken. lmao. and just an fyi, the motogp bike uses a wet clutch as well.

HOW MUCH ARE THEY ANYWAY? I KNOW THEY WONT BE AS EXPENSIVE AS THE 1098S BUT NOT QUITE SURE ABOUT THE MSRP.

Oviously they didn't find to much of a pro for the wet clutch since the 1098R won't be running a wet. The only thing I like wet is girls. IMO I like the sound of a dry clutch sounds menacing.

Put a deposit on a red 848 earlier this week.
It's gonna have the power of a modded RC51 and 396 lb. dry weight.
This things gonna be killer.
I've always been a honda guy, but their latest offerings just don't do it for me. I figure with 2 year unlimited mileage warranty that comes with the duc, I'll take a chance on trying something else.
