Doesn's say Einstein wrote it. Said it was Einstein that said it. I don't believe that it was him either, but I have no way to prove it. Good articles you have about Einstein though.

the point of that story is what it says about evil. And I agree about misquoting. I would rather know who wrote it and if it really happened. As soon as I saw Einstein's name I laughed, but it is good reading.

Like I said, I lost everything. I was taught that it is by faith alone that we are saved, and not by works. The more I give my life over to , truly doing so this time, the more I learn how important it is to truly honestly have a relationship with , and not just the ability to spout information. I never knew him like I know him now.

gave us life, and he gave us free will. What he wants from us is to have a relationship with us, he wants us to praise him as a creature should praise his creator.

In essence, he gave us life, that we might give it back to him in service. In return he guides us, and will use us to do things in our lives that we never could have accomplished alone, giving us peace in knowing that the one who made it all is protecting us, it gives us accomplishment in knowing that we have led a life well lived and it gives us a sense of security. There is nothing worse than being alone, for the first time in my life I've had to know that feeling, and until I gave everything over to him I couldn't tell you how many nights I sat alone crying with my dog wondering how I could ever have gotten where I was.

I'm still there, the dog is still quiet about how pathetic her owner was, but now lives with me, and in me too, and I have peace. Life is getting better and I have a purpose to live once again.

Ask, and I will answer.

wow man. sorry to hear this all happen to you.. but your in for bigger and better things... never lets us down..

I too questioned at one time 's imperfections. I was taught in comfirmation that is perfect, and not capable of creating evil. This confused me due to evil being all around us. This just explains what it is meant about him not creating evil.

Eh, I do not worship my mother but yes I love her and I am not familiar with my father so I do not worship or love him. So I am having a hard time understanding your example and for me to believe that there was no spite or malice every time I was disciplined is naive.

And if he is your spiritual father then where is your spiritual mother?

Evil is an interpretation.

It is still an interpretation based upon morals and even this perception is flawed.

I agree near death experiences are very hard to interpret and only those of us who have had them know how real they seem to be. It is still hard for me to know if that was simply my mind at play.

I agree that science falls short in many areas. Science tries to explain the world around us but, it does not always define that world. The problem here lies that the same can be said for religion.

My step-mom died from blood loss and was brought back. She is not a believer in , and said there was nothing when she died. No light, no tunnels no anything. She just went blank. Maybe there was nothing, because she doesn't believe in anything? All I know is she was blessed with a second chance.

That is awesome to hear. And NO I am not trying to start an argument, but would "blessed" be a proper word to use for an athiest (assuming because she is a non-believer). REALLY! I'm not trying to start anything.
