Need Quick Advice on Downtown Parking

I'm going downtown at lunch to eat and buy a tank bag from somebody and I just realized that I have no clue of the rules of motorcycle parking in metered parallel spots. A friend is going too, can we share a spot?

That's correct. I used to live at Houston House Apartments in the early 2000's. You can park only one bike in a metered spot. Be sure you have enough change. If you go to a parking lot also only one bike per spot.

hmm... im curious if multiple bikes are parked in a spot, or a car & a bike are in the same spot... how is the ticket handled? Do both vehicles recieve one, or is it the vehicle farthest from the meter?

Well we both parked in the same metered spot and didn't get a ticket. Wait, where would they put the ticket? Maybe we didn't notice it.
