Be prepared for $60+ battery changes that must be done @ Apple, and possible $20-30 for a loaner iPhone to use while the battery is being replaced. Also, AT&T data plans are very pricey.

Personally, I would wait another few months, particularly by next year spring. You will find that the market will be filled with iPhone-like phones with even better function and quality/durability. I would consider a Samsung when they come out with one

it is possible that microsoft will unveil a iphone like[but better] devise to compete in the mobile market in the near future. I'd like to see how microsoft crushes apple's iphone just like it did when it introduced the Zune--Despite what everybody might think, Zune is an undeniably superb mp3 player cheaper and tougher than the mundane ipod.

i got mine when the price dropped and love it. plus i sold my old ipod and cell phone for $125 so it ended up costing more around 275

i've dropped a few times from like 2-3 feet and it hasn't even gotten a scratch

the EDGE internet isnt too bad, i can still watch youtube and go to motohouston and other sites

it just gets better with the wi-fi, almost as fast as my desktop computer

So you're one of those guys that just talk out of your against the iphone for the sake of it huh?

The data plans for the iphone is included in the regular plan. SoOOOOoo it's 59.99 nothing more..nothing less.

Stop reading idiocies and educate yourself.

Tru dat, I'm on my 3rd box in 9 months. First one had fatal error when I first plugged it in. Second one crashed last month, hopefully this third one will be ok.

I have one also. I like it a lot. Although it's very difficult to text and drive...not that I should be doing that. It could use a few more features. It needs a video camera and it sucks that I can't pix message friends. Overall, it's a really cool phone and I love it.

i have one on edge, internet is comparable to at&t. i don't notice much of a difference. probably one of the best phones for web browsing and mp3s. only drawback is there isn't any decent document editors available. i need to be able to edit word and excel files. i haven't had any problems like a few people have reported on other forums. i just used it on a 26hr flight to listen to mp3s and only used up half of the battery life.
