They have the guys to get them looking the way they do. I'd NEVER go to Eximport.
What's wrong with that..?? If they fix it and look OK I think is good. Is customers reponsability to check and inspect the condition of a bike, same with the car dealerships.

I was on the understanding that all those wrecked bikes that get fixed are sold and exported to Latin America countries.

I myself have been thinking on start selling wrecked/used motorcycles. If they need major repair I'll take them to Motorcycles Unlimited. If you buy them by the bulk is cheaper, then I'll partner with a local "Credit/Financing" company and sell them "credit".

I've been wondering what they do with all their bikes. They have at least 100 at all times with all the ones lining the street/parking lot and inside, do they really sell that much? I figured they sold the ones in south america or something that they couldn't quickly move in Houston.

Hmmm... As of Tuesday (10/30/07) they still had plenty of Ducs in the showroom..

I agree with the other poster... Liked them better when they were on the other side of the freeway in the warehouse.

When you walk into Eximport, you walk through a dimensional gate into an alternate reality. Within that universe, the dollar is valued about 4x what it's worth here, Ducati is and runs the planet, and bar end weights are worth more than platinum.

At least they offer complementary kneepads at the door if you forget to bring yours.

It's good for a laugh after buying the stuff you need at CycleGear next door at sane prices.

seems like eximports have some friends here. look, NOBODY ASK to get raped with those prices. if you are new to the game and get this jokers working you over, you get molested quick. it's like the uncle telling you,"know one will know,c'mon i'm uncle chester." seems like most people tell them,i pass on the raw d#ck and walk out. there is alot wrong with fixing wrecked bikes and selling them for new prices. don't know if you were being funny. as far as them dropping bikes. if you just changed my tire, why are you even starting my bike??? you better WALK it up front.

funny post about the rashed guy selling gear
