My personal experience with EXIMPORT

all i can say is WOW...just WOW. i walked in there, not looking to buy a bike, but just to see what they have. a couple of bikes caught my attention. i been going to different shops checking out bikes, so thought i'll come in here to see even if i heard bad stuff about them. as i walked in, i was welcomed by this guy. seem cool at first. i saw a black 600rr i believe 05 or 06. i asked how much, he say 11,500. i was like DAMMNNNN..... out loud. i was him why so much. his reply was it's a replica. i told him it was just the plastic. everything else is stock. he didnt have a comback on that one. he then told me there is this orange 600rr for 9500. i told him at that price i could get a 07 brand new. he kept on yapping how good of a bike it is and that it is a canadian edition. i busted out laughing when he say that. then my last bike was a silver r6. 04 i believe. i think he wanted 8xxx for it. i chekc it out really close and found that the front cowl was broken and recently fixed. paint job was bad (debree stuck underneath clearcoat), fairing stay was off by a bit. and worst, they didnt even fix the upper fairing that good. jb quik was used hahaha.

i walked out thanking him for his time.

cliff note:
went to eximport to check out bike
he wanted 11.5k for a 05or 06 600rr with ebay replica plastic
9.5k for orange tribal 600rr
and 8xxx for a damage r6
me walking smiling

at least that is probably a better experience than the last time I went in there and the guy was telling me that he only rides Hayabusa, and is a Hayabusa collector, and he at that time had 3. Then he went about telling me that he could be me on it anywhere I ride, be it street, track, or strip. I guess he didn't know that I ride dirt too.

I went into eximports to pick up a PCIII my brother had ordered for me for my birthday. I took the receipt to the parts counter and while they were in the back looking for the part(like 20 minutes! WTF?) I strolled over to check out the used bikes. They salesman cornered me and started rattling off about this bike and that and started dropping RIDICULOUSLY high prices on me. I laughed outloud as I walked back to the service counter...i dont think the dude liked that very much.

maybe thats why there prices are higher, because they have to pay for the HUGE inventory....
look at some of the other shops , they are like flea market... i keep reading complaints about that shop , get over it.

If you want to just go look at bikes, its a great place because they have more than any one Ive seen. There prices suck and there service is even worse. This is where we got our artic cat, the battery died a month or so after we purchased it, when I asked them if it was covered the guy told me for 168 bucks I could get a new one. Whatever, jackass.... I will not give them one more penny of my money.
