Can't believe how loud these bikes are, I was sitting at turn 1 today with ear plugs in and still super loud, its the greatest thing ever.

All I can say is that midwest food sucks. Although Kansas city is known for its BBQ. Just avoid Bob Evans and Shake & Steak when you get here. Whataburger needs to introduce these people to a real hamburger.

I had a great first day! even with the rain that went and came... especially when the MotoGP guys were out! when the other classes went out it seemed to either drizzle or completely die down...got to do all my shopping and sight seeing today... The museum is pretty impressive! The track is great. Tomorrow it will be strictly watching the racing action and taking pics of the riders... I meet up with Tiatool and went to dinner with a group of MH folks and watched the stuntung competition at the park... Tomorrow night i'll probably head over to the flat track grand nationals and catch some of that. Ill post some of the pics when I have a chance.

rescheduled flight #3 cancelled...hoping to get there Tuesday afternoon. I may have to drive from Dallas.

The racing was incredible and the racers were really cool. i'll post some pics when I make it to my computer (should we regain power).
