Sounds like a good idea. I think that's what I'll do.

I'm gonna book my tickets tonight.

FYI - They are currently revamping the Indy website. The new website will be available on Monday. The old site made you submit an application for tix but the new one will allow you to purchase your seats straight-away.

I'm pumped I can't wait! i think the only thing i need for the trip is a collapsable cooler to put in carry around with me!

i even got parking passes and stuff!

by the way, my girlfriend is paying for this entire trip for my B-DAY!

We originally got a room at a best western for $79 /nt about a year and half ago. Then they finally found about about motogp and jacked the price up to $250 /nt. My wife argued them down to $125 and those fukers barely wanted to take that.

Staying at the Marriott Residence Inn Northwest if anyone else is staying in that area as well.

We'll probably hit up downtown, or one of the late night events on Friday after checking into the hotel. Not sure about the rest of the weekend though.

Staying at the Hyatt Place Keystone. Paid $89/night but I booked it last year. It's about 16mi from the track.

Can't wait!
