Yep, this is my view as well.
Life is too short and cops too slow for stupid. That and we only want one version of the truth or one person lying to the grand jury...

I agree with you on that one. Most people just buy one and never really shoot it except testing it out at the range. It goes into their night stand afterwards. What sense does that make? Training on how to use your weapons should be required and manditory. And I don't mean these CHL courses either. I mean at least go to one advance training. Practice to draw, practice shooting from contact distance all the way out to 25+ meters. And practice practice practice failure drills.

But you live in a "friendly" hood. That doesn't count.

100% plus disarming type courses so you know what to expect when someone grabs for your weapon @ arm's length, and know the appropriate counters

haha i feel you on the towing thing, i use to CHAIN my bike to the car port and they bitched about that, and said they were going to cut my lock and tow my bike, i told them if they did they would have to pay... well they didnt tow it, but gave me a warning, so i parked that in my apartment that night and they never said a word, till they saw me riding down the sidewalk outta my apartment hahaha then they let me chain it back to the carport
