If he gets a new 1098...this is going to be a fun season. If he gets last years 999, he will really be disapointed.

No doubt.

Xaus and Bayliss were pretty quick on the 999 this season, but that 1098 should be something fierce even if they aren't allowed to go nuts with the tuning.

I,m sure they will be runnin the new 1098R, which is almost 1200 cc, that is what all the mess was about this year, the advantage is reliability, not much needed to the new bike, the 999,s were sooo stressed they needed rebuilds every race, should be the same power as the stuff, just less stressed, come to think of it tho not many/ if any? of the ducs blew up this year

Bayliss popped a couple of motors this year. The article said for 2007?? Would they mean the 2008 season?

Yes, they meant '08. They also spelled Ducati wrong.
