Ironically, Patrick at Motorcycles Unlimited just put in an order for me coming Thurs...

Alot of bs on other forums run brock side systems and require pcm maps to run. I lost the pipes on my bike and loved the sound but performance was limited... I couldn't adjust for the remap until, well... thurs....

i think if you are going to run an exhaust like the slashcut...you mind as well run straight out of the cat with no tip...cause it gives you the same sound. you would only really get that if you like it for the looks. and even then, if you like it for the looks, you can go to a local muffler shop and get them to cut one for you like that for about $10-$20.

Loud, annoyingly so, and you will lose midrange performance.

Don't do it. Rev it up and it actually hurts the ears of guys standing behind you. My buddy was at PP1 and some guy had just got one of the open pipe short exhausts. Guy said, "check this out". He started his bike, revved it to 15,000 RPM's. hurt my ears like crazy. My buddy instantly sucker punched the dude in the back of the head. Dude on bike shut it off, was and like WTF??? We just laughed cause it was instinct to hit him. The only way my friend knew to get the ringing out of his ears was to punch the dude to get him to shut it off. So how loud? My ears rang for about 5 minutes. I was pretty as well. One girl was tearing up and about to cry. She said she couldn't hear anything.

Super loud bikes are for asshats.
