From what you typed, you're not completely disagreeing with me. I also think that parents should encourage their children, once old enough, to be curious about other denominations. I think the worst thing you can do is raise your child as a Catholic (or insert other denimination here) and expect them to just blindly follow. My wife was raised Catholic and now we are Methodists. It still bothers her parents that we aren't going to a Catholic church. The important thing (to me) is to find a place where you feel connected to and your fellow congregation.

our pastor is great, but when I withdrew myself from my church and came back to see how fake everyone in the congregations was I had no desire to keep going to church.
My mom still holds bible study at the house and one day I heard them all talking about people they know from church. It bothered me, so I interrupted and said,"I find it ironic yall are having bible study yet your gossiping" A couple of them kind of got defensive, but that was about it nothing else was said.

ok there's where I have to step in and be serious. I stated early in this thread that there will be no bashing or putting down of anyones beliefs. Some may take offense to that. Yes I want ppl to express their opinions, but saying there is or is not a is kind of crossing the boundries. This was a thread made about churches, not IF is real or not.

Without , there is no need for churches. It's still relevant. Saying there is no is not bashing.

says who? so you're saying if we didn't have churches we wouldn't believe in ? WRONG!!! they did not hold mass/services way back when, and they believed in .

Saying there is no is crossing the line and can be offensive.
