Which is better, Blackberry or the new sidekick lx

im getting a new cell phone, which do you think is best? I work in a lab, a good section of it has no signal due to the equipment, so i receive alot of emails and text messages from engineers that need stuff done. Ive researched it, and im probably going with the LX, since i email and text alot

morning, the blackberry is 100 percent better than the LX....email, applications, and its more durable! the LX looks cool but i dont think it will be worth your money.....And this is my expert opinion i use to work for T-Mobile before i started teaching....ie...The sidekick has more movable parts which in turn means that you have a greater chance of breaking it, or just from everyday use the chances are higher....but just like any salesman would say buy what you like and want the first time could be a very expensive mistake listening to other people.

I just picked up my sidekick 3 and I am in love with it. plus the side kick plan is $15 cheaper than all the other plans. I am thinking about trading it in for a sidekick LX which just came out last week.

Dave is absolutely correct, it depends on your wireless provider. the websurfing ia about the same...the only thing is that some pages can be to large for the sidekick to open....the blackberry can open pdf, excel, word and powerpoint emails......the blackberry is more of a professional device and has alot more corporate features, as oppose to the sidekick. but dont get me wrong the LX is a fun device...hope the info helps

Blackberry's OS sux there is a lot of thing you can't do and plenty of web pages you can't view. I use to have a blackberry I7100 from nextel sold it the next day. My girlfriend got stubbern and decided she would try it out and went off and bought a blackberry pearl, she learn how limited the are quick too. I say go with something that has Windows Mobile 6 or similar as on OS on the phone. I currenly own a T-Mobile wing and still wouldn't suggest it not because of it OS (which is awesome) but, because it has a processor that runs slower than most other phones. The only reason I honestly have the wing still is because it was free.

I was completly surprised at how fast my sidekick 3 is when surfing the net. The only draw back is you can not send picture messages, only picture e-mails. I find it very user friendly and I dropped mine already, it's still in one peice.
Blackberry is sleek and more professional looking. Dont get me wrong the new sidekick LX is sleek, but not a phone you see very often in the office!!

HTC Wing... Love it!

Had a Treo600, etc. I've used blackberrys and I like the touch screen with the slide out key pad.

Gotta put it in your hand and play with it; no matter which phone your lookin at cause they all look perty but what's best for someone may be a pain to yourself.

I got the BlackBerry 8800! Love It!

Blackberry has come a long way! Its really slim, yet has a screen large enough, for using the navatel GPS system! The 8800 is the only phone that has the GPS built in it already! The web is a little slow @ times, but tolerable! I mostly text too & the easy key pad works well for me! The phone took a while to learn, but once you do its nice! I love mine, but just make sure you get what you think will work for you!
