I dressed up as death one year and got on my fatboy(i had a harley at the time) and when I heard the door bell rang I would open the garage in total darkness started and rev'd the motor yell'ing scary stuff until the kids ran away. I got some complaints from parent in the neighborhood that night and about a week later. What part of "trick" or treat do they not understand.
