Noice! So, how did you place? Running sprints at TWS (Texas World Speedway) shows you what corner speed is all about doesnt't it?

sure does.....nothin feels better than redlining in 6th turning into turn 1 (i actually ran outta gear WAY too early this time....got a good drive coming outta the chicane. time to change the front sprocket back to stock gearing)

although with the slipper clutch...i felt better, and smoother, and faster....but in reality...my lap times were 5 seconds slower

but i'm thinking it's because all the traffic and i wasn't able to move around freely like a LSTD/LMS trackday. i was constantly battling for position in every freakin turn....it was insane. can't wait til next season...i'll be sure to stay in the front pack.

With all the track time you've been getting, you'll be up there in no time. TWS (Texas World Speedway) doesn't forgive slower corner speeds- if you're not on the edge in sprints, you'll be a backmarker in no time. It's amazing how one or two bad corners can give the guy ahead of you so much of a gap there! I think it's more of a visual thing though... not quite a realistic look because the track is so big.

I dropped about 7 seconds from the track day to race day. It was a fun weekend for sure.

yeah, i found that funny...because the other races i've done...my times dropped around 3 to 5 seconds.

i'm thinking it was all the traffic we had to fight through. i guess i should get a little more aggressive on some of my passes.

It was a blast out there this weekend. Lots of crashes but nobody (including me) seemed to get hurt too bad. Can't wait for the start of next season!
