A cpl of small rooms.

All the "workers" that have been picked up from Home Depot have been no help laying tile.

BTW, he should expect to pay around $2/sf for labor only, or up to $3/sf if the tile-layer includes mortar and grout. Your boss would supply the tiles. If you need someone who does this for a living, let me know. I'm a Homebuilder and General Contractor, and I have a good crew who he can work with directly. I know how to do it myself, but not for $2/sf! Ain't worth it at that rate, and my back would kill me!!

It cannot be done in one day if it were to be done right. You need to allow the mortar to cure for at least 24 hours before applying the grout. It can be started today, but not walked on until Friday.

Glad someone pointed this out. Tile isn't a "QUICK" job. Unless you get the new laminate tiles that just click together. You may save money on the installation, but it's going to cost you for the product!
