I ride all winter. If there is ice forget it. I have an awesome Joe Rocket winter jacket and ski pants and Tour Master insulated gauntlet gloves. I wear a neck gator also. I have no problem staying warm. And I like to freak out the cagers and my co-workers. Makes my day.

Are you meeting any riders from CC for the Big Bend this weekend. I just had an invite to go and was really tempted but I have a trackday on Friday.

I have rode when it is really cold high 30's with no windshield and it felt really cold but I still did it.

I normally cage it if the temp is below 45*F b/c my hands freeze up. The coldest weather I've rode in was probably 35*F and it sucked hard! Only rode 10miles or less but that was way more than enough.

Never too cold. You just have to ride something made for the elements like a snowmobile or four wheeler.

Anything below 33 and I'm staying off the road, unless it's snowing. My Zuma 70 with fat tires runs great on hardpacked snow less than 6 inches deep, or on concrete with snow on top.

In my lifetime it has dropped below freezing on occasion but does not stay there very long.

When my gear ceases to keep me warm.......about 40-ish..

I'm in the solid majority here with the 40's being my limit. I found out yesterday my "Winter" Leathers are too big this year... Guess I'm going to have to layer those perforated leathers even more!

I'm going with a TWT group, but it wouldn't surprise me if other groups were headed there too - it's the annual chili cookoff in Terlingua. We're camping down in the park away from all that, though. You're welcome to tag along!

Men dig it, too.
And yes, everyone gives me strange looks when I'm headed for the door with my helmet and there's rain falling.
