round headlight on rex with duc monster screen

Here's a few quick pics of the new headlight setup. 1 with the headlight alone and a couple with the monster screen. Hopefully I'll have some time to fab up some brackets this weekend - the screen isnt permanenty attached yet. Once the brackets are finished I'll have the screen repainted and tinted (or blacked out). I bought it off ebay and while it's in good shape overall, the paint is scratched heavily on one side.

BTW, my wife absolutely hates the round headlight and the monster screen. I like'm though - they're stay'n

Looks good man. You should paint the screen that blue color that you have on the bike right now.

btw, where did you get those Ohlin shocks? I'm thinking of a set myself.

And the paint on the fairing almost matches! Different, but you'll never hang on at 150 now!!!

not a fan...nothing wrong with experimenting though. I wonder what a dual headlight assembly would looks like.

A couple of the guys on the ZRXOA site run dual headlights. I like them on the Speed Triples, but IMO they don't look right on a ZRX. I'm happy with the round single though - keeps in the retro theme and lets me ditch the square headlight that I've never was crazy about on my REX (or even my old GPZ). The look ain't for everyone though, and that's OK

I thought it would look nicer, and it does...but I don't think I like it better. The square headlight is a characteristic trait of the ZRX.

Kinda like how Speed Triples need dual headlights.

Only in the USA - In Europe and Asia different setups were avaialbe, including a fairly large fairing, similar to the one available on the Bandit.

BTW, I was able to fab up the lower brackets the weekend and finish the windscreen install. It's a stable as it is on the monsters, but I've went ahead ordered a set of bar clamps so I can make some upper brackets to firm up the screen a little more a higher speeds.
