Well I am no dentist but I think I might need a root canal done. It just started hurting after lunch time and its hitting a nerve. I do have insurance but still want to get a decent price.

There's no such thing as "good" and "cheap" when it comes to any physician, you might want to rethink that. You only get what you pay for. What about insurance? You might want to check out U of H and see if they have a dental program that would be willing to take you as a patient for the interns to work on, or some of the Vocational schools around here might do it too.

Just go to UT dental school and set up and appointment. They're in the med ctr and you will be worked on by students but they are well trained and supervised by instructors. And its affordable.

these words do not belong together.

If you seriously need dental work on the cheap, go to the local college, there are students there who know whats up and they need to practice and do schedule work in. I've never gone, but seriously, they are not gonna hurt ya....much.
