vacuum bleeders rock

I've had my SS front brake lines sitting in box for a couple of months now and finally got around to installing them this weekend. I'd have done it sooner but I've also been planning on a round headlight conversion and wanted to do them both at the same time, in case I wanted/needed to make line routing changes for the new headline setup. Anyway, got a chance to bleed the brakes last night with the vacuum bleeder that Texlurch let me borrow. ... those things ROCK!!! From bone dry lines to a full hard lever in about 5 minutes. That's the only way to go. Sorry Jim, I'm not giving your bleeder back - I'll paypal you $5 to cover your loss though

Havent noticed a real differnce yet, but I've only done a short test ride around the block last night, then my 15 min ride to work this morning. No hard braking yet. I may ride back home during lunch and lean on the brakes a little and see how they feel.

Thanks,

I may be upsetting the ZRX faithfull pretty soon though. Now that the round headlight is on, it's about to be fitted with a Duc Moster windscreen. I'll snap a few pics during lunch with the screen on (just a test fit - no brackets)

I'm sure it looks better. Sometimes I'm tempted to upset the Triumph folks and go with a single E-code headlight. The factory duals suck as far as beam pattern is concerned.
