Making a 929rr street smart. Suggestions?

I am turning a 900rr/929rr into a street fighter and I am looking for another 929rr owner to help answer some questions since the bike is nearing reassembly and I dont know how to mount the broken gauges. I want to change the tail and the front fender. What fits? I heard some 2000 gixxers tails fit. They look great but who locally has done It?
Any help would be great.

mounting guages? Aluminium from any hardware store, electric/air or hand saw and a vise/pliers/hammer. Plexiglass can be cut, heated, bent, manipulated, man-handled and painted if you wanted to just cut out holes for the guages and drill a forward face; protect with some sealer from rain;

Got pics of what's broken or where it's mounted? Plenty of inventive folks around here to think; make a one-off system....
