View Poll Results: How do you ride your sportbike?
I ride at the track/lot only. 12 7.69%
I always keep it under the speed limit, except when I'm passing. 8 5.13%
Town,traffic or surface streets I keep it under the limit,but ride 10-20 over on empty back roads 15 9.62%
Same as above, but I enjoy 20-40 over on empty back roads. 12 7.69%
same as above, but pay no mind to the speed limit on empty back roads. 8 5.13%
I'll speed moderately on the freeway (10-20 over) with light traffic. Same with back roads. 68 43.59%
Freeways are my friend. I'll speed on them as I see fit. 20-50 over. 12 7.69%
I speed on empty backroads as well as freeways and I'll throw in some wheelies. Light traffic is OK! 10 6.41%
I will OPEN IT UP on the freeways AND backroads. Wheelies and races are fun. 7 4.49%
Just go ahead and stay out of my way. 4 2.56%

I voted, but since I don't own a sport bike you can toss it out

And speed limit signs are no more than corner markers for the street..... instead of 3, 2, 1.. you get "please double whatever it says"

i am suprised that a lot of people are voting for "I'll speed moderately on the freeway (10-20 over) with light traffic. Same with back roads." :dontknow:

i practice my wheelies in the streets where i live and i speed but like 10 miles over on the freeways....but when im riding with my crew i speed alot more!

i've seen some roads in arkansas and california where if it says do 35mph in a corner, you sure better do it!!!

I've ridden a bunch in Cali, between San Fran and San Diego, as well as the hills.. haven't been thru Arkansas and can't say as I plan to anytime soon..


This rule of thumb of course excludes one lane cow trails and chicken ranch access roads...
