squid on 288N

I was riding on 288 going north from angleton this morning. I came up on a guy on a white and red R1. No gear (helmet only). His friends were in a truck following him but what caught my eye was, he was riding with his feet resting on the passenger pegs...? Ive never seen anyone doing that it seems pretty silly to me. Just wondering if it was anyone on here. He wanted to race me so I clicked down a couple and went from like 60 to 100 but let off after that (seen too many 5-0 on 288). His buddies were videotaping him I think...I dont know why he wasnt stunting or anything.

I saw one idiot a few years ago on my way back from Galveston resting his feet on the passenger SEAT! At least your guy had a helmet, this guy was in a tank top, swim suit and flip flops.

On long hwy rides I used to stretch out on put my feet on the rear pegs

Now I have no rears so can't do that; guess I need to practice sidesaddle like GixxerBill recommends....

yeah it seems like it would relieve the back a little. But I would imagine response and handling would be a littl comprimised

I used to put my feet on the back pegs on my GPZ on long cuises, but my bandit 600 seemed to cramped for it though. The ZRX didnt have rear pegs long enough for me to even try it, but I do put my feet up front on the frame sliders to stretch out when cruising...

+1...although I'm so short I just straighten my legs out and they don't come close to touching the road while moving.

You Sir are a squid for racing on a public road and not recording a Kill.... the Only un-squidly races are those that end with a Kill ... next time record a Kill or dont mention the race your excuse of traffic is BS when on the public road traffic is to be expected
