I've eaten it. Nasty as . Bad as it looks. The first time I crossed the equator and got 'shellbacked' we polywogs had to eat them off the deck of the ship while our hands were tied behind our backs. That was the start of one freaky day of disgustingness. We had just left the Phillipines, which is where Beluut (sp?) is very popular, so I guess they bought up all Subic had to offer. Blech.
