sometimes doing the right thing is not always the right thing to do.

i would've returned the whole $5,000 that dropped.

She did the right thing. 500 is well worth it compared to being caught, probabtion fees, lawyer fees, court fees you get the idea.

i wish that armored car company worked around here seems they have a habit of dropping money all over the place. besides finding money on the ground and keeping it isn't illegal you just have to try and find the owners of the money. to meet the requirements all you would have to do is ask a few people if they work for the company that is stamped on the bag and if they say yes then ask for an employee badge if they don't have one don't give them the money and keep it for yourself call the authorities tell them you tried to find the owner no luck and you are keeping the money for your self.

I wonder what the law actually says. Would the employee who lost it be required to replace it? The Armoured car company isn't the bank that lost the money. Who paid the reward? Who would have been held liable? Did or would the driver have lost his job? $500 is not a tiny chunk of change to most people and I agree with Witchdoctor, what's a clear concious worth to you?

Reminds me of my FAVORITE Twilight Zone Episode... Guy comes in with a briefcase full of money, but if you keep it, someone you don't know and have never met will die... And if you keep it, the next person to get the money is someone you don't know and have never met and you die...

i call that bullshyt that money is insured, and if i find it well. the insurance will pay

that ill keep it, the insurance always steals from me

now if a regular person lost money yeah, then the clear conciense kicks in

he work hard for that money, i would return it
