f4i clutch cover...

will a 99-00 (right crankcase cover)clutch cover fit on a 2002... they look the same.

scratched?

there's an awesome home-mod w/ pics on busas where guys are drilling out the center and using lexan to make a clear cover... very trick, fully illustrated... if interested, let me know and I'll find the link; its on another site so u'd have to sign in with them, but its free.... an alternative to damaged covers.... just sayin

since its apart; like mentioned above, I'd love to do the mod but I ride enough that I don't want it down that long... but u'd basically be drilling out the full center of the plate, using lexan, sealant, bolts to secure a new cover on it then have a see-through cover for the clutch cage... full write up with pics step by step at extremebusa.com
