Re: Ouch.

Did he tap the rear brake right before the turn? Trying to figure out what caused the rear tire to do that.

Re: Ouch.

Coudl it be that he shifted into a lower gear and the RPMs were too high when he dumped the clutch? I know if im going a decently quick speed (50 or so) and go to 2nd gear, the back wheel seems to slide a little bit. Maybe it was the combination of that and him trying to lean for the turn? Only reason I ask is cause you can see him reach for the clutch right before it happens.

I think you're probably right because I was looking to see if his rear brake light flashed and I didn't see it. He must have thought he was going to fast and probably shifted down and the RPM's must of kicked his tire out. Either way, that sucks. I'm glad he was wearing full gear or his damage could have been a lot worse than what he ended up with though I'm sure he didn't just jump right up.

Re: Ouch.

WOW......!!!! Also..maybe some "target fixation" with the brick wall...??? Seems like he was able to recover from the rear tire slide but continue straight against the wall. :dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow:

Re: Ouch.

i think what happen is he couldnt go straight cause the car filming was on his right or the lane got narrow and he wasnt prepared to turned so he hesitated and ended up in the middle. and he looks like a noob maybe they were filming his first and last ride...

Re: Ouch.

looks to me like the tire could just have simply been "cold" and when he leaned it slightly he ran over somethin slick and his tire just gave and well u can imagine what happend when you go into a tank slapper... You can only go one way and that's straight. By the time it settled it was toooo late. :confused1:
