Washer Machine Help pls....

My washer seemed to take a on me and I dont really know what to do. Is there anyone on here that knows anything about washer machines?

The unit goes through all its different cycle with no problem. The only thing is the piece in the middle doesn't spin but I can hear a motor running or some type of electrical sound but no movement. Also when it comes time to rinsing and the whole thing inside spins to dry the cloths... nothing. It just sits there with that motor sound.

Is it possible that there is a broken belt or if the motor has gone bad? Should i just dump it and get a new one?

I think what initially broke it was i was banging some chick and she got woman juices on my comforter. I threw it in the washer but I think the load was to big and stressed out the motor. 2 weeks later the goes out.

If anyone has a machine for sale let me know whats up please!! I dont want to get mugged at a Washeteria while washing clothes and going to friends house is just annoying.

Thanks in advance for any info

Well, for starters - bang your chicks on the sheet, not the comforter.
If you are mechanically inclined, it might be worth taking it apart and... wait, this is YOU we're talking about - get a new one. Doesn't need to be expensive or fancy.

Also, there's talk of govt regulations getting top-loading washers out of circulation because of water usage (they want everyone to buy a front loader) so get a new top loader now while you can.

as you said the belt may be bad the motor is good the other thing is the transmission maybe bad, check the belt if it is good I would think about a new washer.

ps I am no expert so if someone knows more then I have at it.
