This smells like a trap. . . Could be wrong. Just seems a bit, iffy.

What product or substance is best for getting all of the road and brake grime out from the swingarm/undertail/axle?

I want something that I can spray on and rinse off - like gasoline but without the harmful side effects. - There's no way to scrub all those crevices.

Anybody know anything about the status of the lane splitting bill in the Texas house? Has it died?

I'm interested in getting a wheel chock for the bike of my truck, so that I don't have to use straps anymore. Anyone recommend a good one?

Cashtown, how about I make a formal "Everything I've ever wanted to know about motorcycles but was too afraid to ask 'cause you guys would make fun of me" thread, and you can populate it with your questions. Except. . .I don't think these are laughable questions.

I've always heard that using mismatched tires (front and rear) is bad and can cause head shake/steering problems. Why is this? What does having two different compounds do to your handling?

Has Michelin ever provided the new tires to replace those that were affected by the recall?

If you are out of town, on the bike, and you can only find regular unleaded (low octane) I've heard that it is safe to use an aftermarket octane-booster. If you're only pumping about four gallons, is it still OK to pour in an entire bottle of STP?

What steps should be taken to get a bike back into shape after it's had a lengthy sit? Say, more than a year, with gas and all fluids in it.

Beside the obvious safety concerns, what ramifications are there for removing the reflectors from your bike? Do you need to have at least one red one at the rear of the bike? What about the yellow ones on the forks?

I've heard of an additive that you can add to your radiator mix that allegedly keeps coolant temperatures artificially low. I don't remember what it's called, but does anyone know? And is it hype or does it work?

Straight through sportbike exhausts seem to be all the rage. Some of them do sound good, but it's always been my understanding that an engine needs back pressure to run right.

If you just take the muffler off of your bike it's bad, but what about RaceFit exhausts? Do they have something in them that creates the necessary back pressure?

What is the best dyno brand? By that I mean, which brand gives the most realistic numbers - if you rule out user error / manipulation?

Can I run race fuel in my bike at the drag strip? If my only mods are filter/pipe/PCIII w tune? Do I need to have a second tune for higher octane fuel?

In layman's terms can someone run through the difference between rake and trail for me. I think I understand them, but I have trouble explaining them to other people and I take this as a sign that I don't really understand them. How do variances in them affect handling?
