06 gsxr 600









k6 gsxr 600 engine swap ???

ok her is the deal im looking for any info on a engine swap from a k6 gsxr 600 to a k6 gsxr 750. Does anyone know anything i would need to get this done i couldnt use from my 600. I know the ecu but not sure if i can use the same wiring anything u know is much needed thank you for ur help??

The engine is not a direct bolt in. The 750's head height is taller so the upper engine mounts don't line up.
Besides that, you'll need 750 throttle bodies / airbox and a few other components.

If you are gonna do the swap, just go to the 1000. Although I would not be hacking on a 2006 bike....

Sell it, and upgrade if want something bigger....Now if it was 01-03, I would say do it. You need the ecm, TBs, airbox, gauge cluster, exhaust of some sort. I believe the wiring harness should be the same. Ignition trigger/stator wiring/plugs might be a little different. Don't remember...
