"he has been riding for 3 weeks.he keeps saying he wants to trade his r6 for an r1.i keep telling him he needs more time on the r6.i tell him its more than enough for him for a while.he is a little weak when it comes to leaning through turns."

I'd say he is a "little weak" in more than one area.

Get him off a motorcycle before he raises the insurance rates for all of us.

Tell him to get the R1 that way, it's faster...........

going down. J/K
It's better to leave him alone and respect his fear. You don't want to be the one to be blame for his death if it happens.

crashing definitely teaches you a lesson, he went from wanting an R1 to not wanting to ride at all. At least he walked away from the wreck.

Tell him that it is better to ride alone than feel the pressure of trying to keep up with a group. There's no better feeling than being one with your machine alone and not having to deal you trying to catch up to people. But I guess he did it for the bling factor. What a way to waste money.

All I know about that area is to stay away unless I absolutely have to go there.

Too much traffic, too many lights, speed traps, etc. etc. That road's for driving not enjoying.

well i haven't been that way in a while, but being its an estuary(sp?) i don't think they can develop on it. your thinking closer to el camino and hwy3 side. down futher its more scenic, but not curves i would consider challenging at all.
