BMW Racing in World Superbikes in '08?

http://www.roadracingworld.com/news/...&article=30342

With Alex Hoffman as the rider? How did I miss this rumor? lol

But since Hoffman is still fighting for his old job, I guess that cancels out the BMW rumor.

I liked the BMW Power Cup with the K1200Rs. We watched them at Valencia at the '05 GP and they were pretty cool.

You think the Superbikes will be a more conventional bikes?

Well, it says new 1000cc four-cylinder bikes. I guess that rules out the boxer cup bikes.

Maybe the MotoGP bike they have been rumored to be developing for the last 5+ years will be homologated for WSBK?
